Q.    How often do the dogs go outside?

A.     Every two to four hours.

 

Q.       How often are the dogs socialized?

A.   Every two to hour hours.

 

Q.    What vaccinations do you require?

A.        The bordetella is the only optional vaccine that we require.

 

Q.       How often are the dogs in the suite?

A.   Only for feeding, bedtime and tours.

 

Q.  How do you know whom the dog will room with?

A.  The dogs pick their own roommate during social time.

 

Q.  How many times a day to we feed.

A.  Minimum of two.

 

Q.  What if my dog requires medication?

A.  We are trained by American Red Cross Pet First Aid Safety.

 

Q.  What if there is an aggressive dog?

A.  The dog would be isolated until the owners return and then it will not be welcomed back.                                                                                             

       Q.  What are your hours?

A.     Hours are by reservation.

 

Q.    When can I drop off or pick up my dog?

A.     365 days a year from 7am to 9pm.

 

Q.     Are the dogs alone at night?

A.     There is 24-hour care.

 

Q.    How many dogs do you take?

A.     15 boarder and 10 daycare.

 

Q.    Are you open on holidays?
 

A.  We are available 365 days a year.

 

Q.  Do the dogs sleep in the beds?

A.   Yes, the dogs love the beds.

 

Q.  Can my dog have a suite to itself?

A.   No

 

Q.  How many suites do you have?

A.  Twelve

 

Q.  How many dogs do you put in a suite?

A.  Two to four dogs.

 

Q.  My dog has some behavior problems.

A.  As long as we know about the problems at check in we can work with the problems (unless it is aggressive towards “all” dogs).

 

Q.    My dog isn’t fully potty trained.

A.     Because we let them out so often that it usually isn’t a problem.

 

Q.    Can I call and check on my dog?

A.     Yes, as much as you feel needed.

 

Q.    My dog has separation anxiety.

A.     The dog is never alone since we have 24-hour care.

 

Q.    Do I bring my own food?

A.     Yes, this will assist in any gastroenteritis issues.

 

Q.    Should I bring my own bed, toys or bowls?

A.     No, we have plenty.

 

Q.    My dog has a special combination of food.

A.  Not a problem, we cater to the dogs need

 

Q.  Do we groom the dogs?

A.  No, we have several groomers’ in the area that we use.

 

Q.  Can you bathe my dog?

A.  We will bathe a dog up to 35 pounds.  Over 36 pounds the dog will go to a groomer’s.

 

Q.    Is a bath required?

A.     No, it is optional for a fee.

 

Q.    How big is the resort?

A.     The resort is 2200 sq. feet or 1.3 acres of natural preserves.

 

Q.   How do I show proof of Flea and Tick prevention?

A.     You can be in the box or the receipt from the vet.

 

Q.    What if I don’t use Flea and Tick prevention?

A.  It is a requirement to stay at the resort.  We sell the collars for $8.00 and the top coat treatment for $15.00

 

Q.    Why don’t we have a sign out front near Belcher?

A.     We do not own any of the front property.

 

Q.    Do you have an on call veterinarian?

A.    We have three that are available for us.

 

Q.    What if my dog gets sick?

A.     We will contact your veterinarian first. 

 

Q.    Should a vet bill occur, who pays it?

A.     If it is the fault of the resort, we do.  If it is an act of God, the owner does.

 

Q.    What if my dog has diarrhea?

A.  We treat it with Imodium up to three days.  If it continues,
we contact the vet.

 

Q.    What if my dog will not eat?

A.        We put a teaspoon of gravy on the food to enhance the taste.

 

Q.    Do you walk the dogs?

A.     No, the dogs exercise in the playground.

 

Q.    Why is my dog so tired when it gets home?

A.     The dog was socialized and played during its stay.

 

Q.    How do we keep the resort so clean?

A.     We mop it 10 – 12 times a day with 150-degree water.

 

Q.    Where does the midnight person sleep?

A.     At home, they are here to work and keep all the dog comfortablethrough the night.

 

Q.    What if my dog does not go out side?

A.     You need to provide the paper or wee-wee pads.
